Dune Prophecy: The Complete First Season is the perfect summer vacation must-own
Just keeping it 100? I low-key cringe at the thought of trying to rely on fire programming when I go on vacations at solid hotels. Whether it’s the inability to properly connect my PlayStation 5 to the hotel Wi-Fi or just flicking through 45 random channels with no guide - I’m here for the sure bets like having a physical copy of ‘Dune Prophecy: The Complete First Season’ to load up onto my Blu-ray player (which tucks easily into my luggage) and getting a nightly binge-friendly viewing on.
A few weeks past when the physical version of the series arrived for the taking, it’s remained my summer-ready go-to for the cross-country adventures.
No matter the hotel, just give me a TV and I’m plugged in - literally - within minutes and ready to stream - er - play the super popular show.
The more I travel and embrace hotel stays, I keep realizing I am all for reliability and whether it’s the location of my hotel room not getting the best Wi-Fi signal or worrying about draining my own personal hot spot to game and view streaming-friendly shows, I have come to the conclusion of having a physical version of a solid series to really enjoy a weeklong stay anywhere. So the ‘Dune Prophecy’ series? Must-watch.
The star power of Olivia Williams and Mark Strong plus Emily Watson and Travis Fimmel setting the tone? Oh yes but what I really love most about getting this physical version of the ‘Dune’ series is all of the bonus content.
90 minutes of additional footage influencing a deep dive with the cast and crew showing the creation of the Dune universe along with looking at characters, settings and storylines? Oh yes.
An absolute must-own if you’re big into the Dune franchise and especially if you love gripping shows with the signature HBO Original appeal? Oh yes.
