Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, announced today that Amazon MGM’s upcoming blockbuster, Project Hail Mary, is Fandango’s best ticket pre-seller of 2026. The film has surpassed all 2026 titles in advance ticket sales at the same point in the sales cycle, including Scream 7 and Wuthering Heights.
"Project Hail Mary is gearing up to have a successful opening weekend at the box office this weekend,” said Jerramy Hainline, EVP of Fandango. “With ticket pre-sales already leading all 2026 releases on Fandango, it’s clear that fans are eager to experience this thrilling space adventure together on the big screen.”
In anticipation of the film’s release, Fandango launched a Project Hail Mary Mystery Bundle, which includes one movie ticket, an exclusive collectible print, and a mystery item inspired by the film that will be revealed post-release to avoid spoilers.
The film is currently Certified Fresh on Tomatometer at 95% with 171 reviews and is Verified Hot on the Popcornmeter at 98% with 1,000+ reviews.
Tickets for Project Hail Mary are on sale now on Fandango, arriving in theaters Friday, March 20th.
