Rick & Morty: The iconic duo’s ‘The Anime’ is low-key and high-key must-own
Let’s keep it 100 - you’re reading this on an actual device, right? Forget needing a printed out version of Attack The Culture and the same is more and more true when it comes to media. However, there’s some home entertainment worthy of having when Wi-Fi isn’t rocking, streaming buffering issues get you saying WTHelly and anything else. I mean, there’s a reason why 4K Ultra HD is a real thing and so is Rick and Morty: The Anime is an absolute must-own for your franchise fanatics.
If you’re like me, when there’s a franchise or brand you truly rock with - you need all types of fandom from figurines and office desk items to the physical disc version of a series like ‘Rick and Morty’ notably when it’s a special release like ‘The Anime’ of course.
It’s up for debate because some Attackers will claim the series should have never experienced outside of the traditional realm and then you have others in love with this sci-fi adventure and love this twist you’re seeing.
No matter where you stand - a collectible is a collectible and one thing I’ve come to learn is when you’re relying on a fave series or special on a digital platform - things can change way too soon. We went from HBOMax to Max back to HBOMax again - so don’t worry about having to adjust to the times and embrace having your own physical version so no matter the situation, your fandom isn’t compromised and viewing needs are in place.
Having a revamped version of the series put into anime style gives a fresh look at the iconic duo and a nice dab of early 2000’s cartoons and styles you’ll definitely appreciate.
How about the highlights of the physical Blu-ray/DVD version, though? Say less.
It's life mostly as usual for the Smith family. Rick relaxes in a pseudo-world between multiverses, Summer helps Space Beth fight the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falls in love with a mysterious girl. And they’re all an anime.
Special features? A need to look at what the characters appear to look like? Say less.
Could you use a little more details? Want to find out what’s really brewing with the physical version and what you get with it? Salute to Amazon for the deets.
