Big K.R.I.T. signs a solid indie deal and has big things brewing for next week
Forget just loving his newly released studio album, how about seeing how K.R.I.T. is evolving going into the new year? Oh - plus a benefit concert going down in the coming days? Peep the deets.
Grammy-nominated rapper, producer, and cultural force Big K.R.I.T. has officially signed with ONErpm, launching a new chapter in his career defined by independence, creative autonomy, and long-term artistic vision. The partnership arrives as K.R.I.T. celebrates 20 years in music, reinforcing his legacy as one of Hip-Hop’s most consistent and respected voices.
“We are honored to welcome Big K.R.I.T. to ONErpm,” says Orlando McGhee, Head of Urban for ONErpm. “K.R.I.T. represents authenticity, storytelling, and evolution in rap. This partnership amplifies his vision, and we’re excited to support this next chapter.”
“This album is a new chapter for me, and partnering with ONErpm lets us tell this story the way it’s meant to be heard — on our terms, for the people who’ve been ridin’ with me since day one,” Big K.R.I.T shares.
Released December 5, K.R.I.T.’s new album, Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz, is a “sonic homecoming.” Created with Mississippi-born collaborators, the project blends warm instrumentation, soulful textures, emotional resonance, and the pulse of Southern car culture—a metaphor for life's transitions.
“I’m not here to prove I can rap anymore,” K.R.I.T. says. “I’m here to make music that lives with you.”
The album is a full-circle moment, capturing the past, present, and future of an artist who evolves with intention while staying true to his roots.
