It’s Big Apple pride around these parts but when it comes to hip-hop heavyweight Blu - it’s pure love for what California’s most iconic city - sorry San Francisco - has to offer courtesy of the new ‘LA’ anthem.

It’s slow and steady with solid production on this ‘LA’ track but how about getting some solid lyricism and Los Angeles imagery from start to finish? Oh yes.

Fresh off his latest acclaimed collaboration with Exile, Los Angeles rap savant Blu is back with new music.  This time, the gifted lyricist is joining forces with Oakland producer Sndtrak, a 9th Wonderaffiliate with a celebrated history of instrumental releases and production credits for Rapsody, Larry June, Smif-N-Wessun, and more.  With the full-length collaboration LA set for release this September, Blu and Sndtrak are now unveiling the lead single and title track from the album.  "LA" paints a layered portrait of life in the City of Angels, with Blu's intricate verses underscored by hypnotic production.   "It's such an honor to work with Sndtrak on this project, he is so talented and blessed me with absolute heat!"
