DDG: Director Cam Grey brings the cinematic heat with ‘Top of the Hill’

When it comes to anthems, how about seeing and hearing DDG delivering? Oh yes. But pairing him up with Cam Grey for some cinematic flexing, too? My goodness. It’s a visual glow in the ‘Top of the Hill’ music video.

DDG teams with Cam Grey for their ‘Top of the Hill’ music video

More than just a single. It’s DDG teaming up with Cam for their newest cinematic drop.

With his nearly sold-out headlining tour underway in support of his album, blame the chat, multi-platinum recording artist and streamer DDGdelivers new hard-hitting single “Top of the Hill,” out now via EPIC Records. Listen HERE. The release follows his blockbuster collaboration with Polo G (“Not Friendly”), which dropped last month and further solidified his status as a singular voice in hip-hop.

Top of the Hill” is a flex-heavy banger that gives DDG space to step fully into his star power. The chantable hook, “I made it out of the city, I’m lucky for real, I’m at the top of the hill,” anchors that energy with a larger than life statement. It’s a not-so-humble track that highlights his fat pockets, foreign whips, and unimaginable wealth.

Elsewhere, it’s been an impressive run for DDG – and last year he took things to new heights. After starting the year with his first PlaqueBoyMax collaboration (“Pink Dreads”), which landed on the Billboard charts upon release and has since been streamed over 46 million times, DDG continued fortifying his catalog with a handful of buzzworthy singles, and his latest project, moo, released on his 28th birthday.

DDG's 2025 album blame the chat has also earned widespread praise from fans and music critics alike, with many labeling it his most innovative project to date. Bringing the album to life on stage, the Michigan firebrand embarked on his highly anticipated North American tour last month, beginning April 21 with a hometown show in Detroit. With additional stops in New York, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and more, the Blame The Chat Tour delivers an unforgettable live experience, channeling the same interactive energy that defines DDG’s viral livestreams.

Fans can access tickets here, and the full routing can be found below.

With more than 2 billion global streams and multiple RIAA-certified records, DDG has earned recognition from XXL and Forbes 30 Under 30. Described by Complex as “one of the most powerful streamers in hip-hop,” he remains at the forefront of a new era spanning music, content, and culture.

Stream “Top of the Hill” above and stay tuned for more from DDG.
