Ealuhri: It’s signature sounds and glow ups with ‘WIMPY KID’

Low-key? Getting put onto Ealuhri recently - I haven’t looked back. It’s all eyes and ears on the energetic hip-hop artist delivering signature sounds from the Atlanta rap scene. His newest gem? How about this ‘WIMPY KID’ drop? Say less.

Ealuhri comes through with the hard-hitting ‘WIMPY KID’

A bit of workout goals meets glow up flexing and turn up feels all balled into one with Eahluri’s newest drop - ‘WIMPY KID’ - and how about knowing a full-fledged mixtape arrives later this month? Peep the deets.

Making waves in the Atlanta underground with his natural charisma and innovative flows, rising rhymer Ealuhri (pronounced in four syllables, like "Ee-ay-luh-ree") is leading the rap hotbed's next generation of stars. The 21-year-old rapper keeps his run going, sowing off his storytelling and offbeat flexes on "WIMPY KID," his new single. Produced by Gianni & Leadbluntt, with additional production from Popstar Benny, "WIMPY KID" backs Ri with a veritable trap orchestra, with blown-out rage synths providing a euphoric melody atop pulse-pounding percussion. Ri builds his verse out of a whirlwind of rapidfire bars, sharing pages from the diary of a formerly wimpy kid: "Left pocket on broccoli/Right pocket on asparagus/Ridin' round in a Lamb truck/Flip the curb at a Ruth's Chris," he spits.

"WIMPY KID" is the latest glimpse from You're Welcome World (YWW), the LILYOGANG rapper's upcoming mixtape. The new song follows "WHIP IT," a collaboration with fellow risers  YTLILRICand Yung Rok, which debuted as a Montreality DVD and earned attention from Pitchfork, who added it to its Pitchfork Selects playlist. Executive produced by ATL producer and underground tastemaker Popstar BennyYWW arrives on April 26th.

Born and raised in ATL, Ealuhri has been the breadwinner for his family since he was 14, with a mother confined to a wheelchair and a father not in the picture. The youngster refused to be held down by life's circumstances, teaming up with his his cousin Double XL and best friend LIL YO to form an irreverent rap group. When LIL YO lost his life to the streets, Ri and company, including Double XL and Ri's close friend Ydouble, named their crew LILYOGANG, vowing to honor their friend's memory by running up numbers in the rap game.

Ealuhri and LILYOGANG first earned local attention with the song "Nickelodeon Slime," which precipitated a flurry of energetic mixtapes. The music built steam in the ATL scene until Ealuhri and the gang earned co-signs from Playboi Carti, Ken Carson, Gunner Stahl, BabyDrill, and more. In 2025, Ri and the gang released "JODY JO,"  a bite-sized banger that quickly gained traction online, generating over 100k TikTok creates en route to more than 10 million streams across platforms. Ri performed the song on On The Radar, and its success led to Ri's placement on Underground Sound's viral 2026 cypher.

With "WIMPY KID" and "WHIP IT" out
now, Ealuhri is entering an exciting new chapter of his career YWW is the perfect entry point into Ri's wild world, showcasing the skills that have his city's most valid figures singing his praises. Stay tuned for much more from Ealuhri in the coming weeks.
