HDBeenDope: The high-energy hitmaker prepares his new EP with a fire ‘Figure Four’ drop

When it comes to dropping anthems, HDBeenDope always comes through clutch. So how about taking the signature energy we’re aware he has and flipping it into a new ‘Figure Four’ music video? Tough.

HDBeenDope gets you ready for a new EP with his ‘Figure Four’

The New York native comes through with his newest gem but as equally dope as the visual is, how about getting ‘Figure Four (Extended)’ to be a teaser for his new EP slated to drop April 22? Yup - I am here for it.

Brooklyn-born artist HDBeenDope announced his forthcoming EP, arriving April 22, alongside the release of the official video for “Figure Four (Extended).” The track marks his return with renewed focus, setting the tone for a new chapter defined by sharper lyricism, cinematic visuals, and elevated artistry.

HDBeenDope steps back in with “Figure Four (Extended),” a confident and reflective release that introduces the sonic direction of the upcoming EP. The track blends intensity with introspection, capturing an artist pushing forward with clarity and purpose. “I was down for weeks, it seems it’s clicking, I just spoke to God, I won’t diminish,” he raps, before reframing criticism as motivation: “I could flame the face off every critic, I misplace the hate with all the winnings.” The new single signals a shift, one rooted in perseverance, growth and self-assurance.

The accompanying video expands that vision through cinematic storytelling and performance-driven visuals, highlighting HDBeenDope’s hands-on creative approach. As a rapper, producer, and videographer, he continues to shape a world that reflects both his Brooklyn roots and forward-thinking style. The release sets the foundation for the upcoming EP, capturing HDBeenDope in full evolution where raw energy meets refined execution.

Boasting over 300,000 monthly Spotify listeners and millions of YouTube views across his growing catalog, HDBeenDope has built momentum through standout releases including “Byrd,” “Mamba,” and “Top.” His music has landed placements with EA Sports’ Madden 2021, the NBA 2K League, the NFL’s Songs of the Season program, CBS Sports, Beats by Dre, and Nike. Most recently, Stephen A. Smith spotlighted HDBeenDope’s track “Move” during a broadcast segment, bringing additional attention to the standout record from his last project. In addition to these milestones, he has performed at Nyla Symone’s Pass The Aux alongside Maiya The Don and Connie Diamond, as well as at Rolling Loud NYC, NBA All-Star Weekend 2024, and more.

“Figure Four” captures HDBeenDope in full evolution, where raw energy meets elevated artistry, setting the stage for what’s to come on his upcoming EP arriving April 22nd.
