On Sunday evening (July 12), JAŸ-Z Extra Innings wrapped JAŸ-Z's historic three-night run at Yankee Stadium, where he became the first artist to sell out three consecutive shows, each featuring a unique setlist and production.
JAŸ-Z kept the surprises coming throughout the final night of his Yankee Stadium run, bringing out Teyana Taylor, Jermaine Dupri, Jeezy, USHER, The-Dream, Rihanna, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, Pusha T, Beyoncé, Fat Joe and Jadakiss. Teyana Taylor joined him for a rendition of “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” while Jermaine Dupri took the stage for “Money Ain’t A Thing.” Jeezy followed with “Seen It All” and “Go Crazy,” before USHER teamed up with JAŸ-Z for “Heart of the City” and “Throwback.” Rihanna shocked the crowd with performances of “Run This Town” and “Bitch Better Have My Money,” while Swizz Beatz helped turn up the momentum with “Money Cash,” “Jigga My N***a,” “Welcome to the Jungle” and “On to the Next One.” Pharrell later returned for a hit-filled set featuring “Ain’t No,” “Excuse Me Miss (Lalala),” “Give It to Me,” “Frontin’” and “Allure,” before reuniting with Pusha T for “Grindin’.” Beyoncé made a special appearance for “Drunk in Love,” and Fat Joe and Jadakiss helped bring the historic weekend to a close with “New York.”
The final show drew another star-studded crowd, with Michael Rubin, Tyler Perry, Travis Scott, Robert Kraft, Carmelo Anthony, Karl Anthony Towns, Kelly Rowland, Lil Baby, Peso Pluma, Chris Paul, Jayson Tatum, Draymond Green, Yo Gotti, Hit-Boy, Tierra Whack, Jordyn Woods, Brandon Ingram, PJ Tucker, Robinson Canó, and Angela Simmons among those celebrating the milestone from the Armand de Brignac and D'USSÉ risers.
Across three sold-out nights, JAŸ-Z delivered three completely distinct live experiences, each featuring its own setlist, production, and lineup of special guests.The weekend saw JAŸ-Z 25 welcoming Eminem, Pharrell Williams and Slick Rick to the stage, following JAŸ-Z 30 which featured surprise appearances from Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Nas, Alicia Keys, Memphis Bleek and Jaz-O.
