Jae Stephens’ Audacity album comes out September 25

It’s summer love vibes brewing super strong and carrying over to cuffing season. New anthems like ‘Sugar Trap’ and her ‘Attaboy!’ tune - too - my goodness. Peep the deets.

Bubbling pop singer / songwriter and producer, Jae Stephensannounces her highly anticipated debut studio album AUDACITY, a coming of power storybook enforcing the many dimensions of modern femininity disguised as your next favorite pop album set to release on September 25th via Def Jam Recordings / RAEDIO across all platforms.

Pre-order AUDACITY HERE.

AUDACITY's exploration of womanhood bridges the gap between the various forms of female duality from softness and strength, vulnerability and command, to intimacy and independence while weaving together Jae’s ideologies of feminine sovereignty. Produced by Dallas Caton and writing support from MNEK (Zara Larsson, Beyonce, Dua Lipa) the 11-track album (plus bonus track on vinyl only) unfolds within Jae’s fanatical immersive worldAuda City - a place she and Creative Director Cass Meyers (SZA, Megan Thee Stallion) created to allow women’s unapologetic convictions to transform feminine power into a destination all its own while being accented by Jae’s new age blend of pop and R&B. Each song on the new album becomes an expression of Jae’s bold limitless worldview starting with the kick-off single “Attaboy!” where she tames a self-proclaimed bad boy into the perfect plus one. She recently revved the engine of AUDACITY with her latest single “Sugar Trap”by using candy-coated hooks and cheeky innuendos to make a statement for women everywhere who know what they want and won’t minimize their standards.

AUDACITY is me daring to take up as much space as I want in a world that has tried to box me in both personally and professionally” says Jae. “The songs on this album put my ambitious, aggressive, and even at times avoidant tendencies on display; rather than run from it, I’ll always have the audacity to tell it exactly how I see it, even if it can sometimes paint me as the villain in my own story.”

Notable media outlets such as Teen VOGUE, NylonVIBEOne’s To Watch among others have already championed the upcoming album via its latest singles and continue to support her dominance in the pop space. Jae’s acclaimed EPs SELLOUTSELLOUT II and TOTAL SELLOUT THE DELUXE set the stage for Jae’s artistic growth leading her to land as an opener for FLO on the US leg of their "AAA Tour" which later opened the doors to Jae’s own SELLOUT tour in October 2025 - selling out its initial three show dates in LA, NYC, and London in 24 hours. She later extended the tour continuing on to sell out shows in Houston, Atlanta, DC, Toronto, Santa Ana and Boston. Across all three SELLOUT projects, Jae’s music has been praised by the likes of BillboardRolling StoneNPRELLENOTION,Wonderland MagazineClash MagazineRated R&B, and SPIN - who dubbed SELLOUT IIone of the Best EPs of 2025.
