2K announced the Season 2 of NBA® 2K27, the latest iteration of the NBA video game franchise developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, launches Friday, October 16.Headlined by Indiana NBA and WNBA superstars Tyrese Haliburton and Caitlin Clark, Season 2 begins as the NBA season tips off.
This Season brings a remastered Sunset Beach to The City, new MyTEAM content, and the debut of GOAT Builds, which features eight new MyPLAYER builds inspired by NBA legends. 2K Beats delivers the biggest seasonal drop ever, with music curated by Tyrese Haliburton and a nod to Space Jam’s 30th anniversary. NBA 2K27 also arrives on the Windows PC Store on October 16.

What’s Included in NBA 2K27 Season 2?
GOAT Builds: Season 2 introduces GOAT Builds, which exceed the standard physical and attribute caps of the MyPLAYER Builder. Inspired by NBA legends, the animations and stats are locked to preserve each player’s authentic feel, while keeping full access to Badges, Cap Breakers, and more. GOAT Builds available at release include Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant and more. Players can earn more GOAT Builds through REP and Challenges.
The City: Sunset Beach, remastered from NBA 2K17, brings the Park a coastal backdrop with a volcano visual and an aquarium display. Players earn XP in The City, MyCAREER, and MyTEAM on the way to Level 40, with rewards that include Bonus Badge Slots, Synergy Badge Slots, a 4-Person Golf Cart, an Indiana Pacers Mascot, and a Cap Breaker.
MyTEAM: Season 2 rewards start with a Level 1 Diamond Jason Kidd and build to a Level 30 Dark Matter Devin Vassell. Players can also earn a Premier Exchange Pixel Cut Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, an 11-time NBA All-Defensive Team selection and four-time NBA Blocks Leader, for their roster.
2K Beats Soundtrack: Season 2 adds five new mixes led by a Tyrese Haliburton curation featuring Drake, Jay-Z, and Meek Mill. Additions include a Space Jam 30th anniversary celebration, new picks from Kid Cudi, Linkin Park, and Blackpink, a French artist spotlight, and ten new Rucker Park tracks. Every NBA 2K27 track is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
Windows PC Store: NBA 2K27 arrives on the Windows PC Store on October 16 alongside Season 2. Players that already own NBA 2K27 on XBOX can get it on Windows PC at no additional cost. Purchasing NBA 2K27 on the Windows PC Store grants access to the XBOX version at no additional cost. Cross-progression between PC and XBOX is not available.
Season 2 Pro Pass & Hall of Fame Pass: Pro Pass and Hall of Fame Pass owners* unlock 40 additional levels of rewards, including a spooky season theme, a Level 40 Pro Pass Pixel Cut Karl-Anthony Towns, and a 94 OVR Pascal Siakam.
