The wait’s almost over. Rap heavyweight NLE Choppa’s long-awaited ‘Duck Boot’ is gearing up for mass consumption after partnering up with Black-owned foot apparel powerhouse FCTRY LAb.

Black-owned, LA-Based footwear disruptor, FCTRY LAb and multi-platinum rap sensation NLE Choppa announced their collaboration to drop the exclusive “Duck Boot,” which is the first of several limited edition shoe designs the two partners are developing together. Having debuted the Duck Boot at Rolling Loud on the main stage and the Lakers game courtside with FCTRY LAb Co-Founder Omar Bailey, Choppa becomes the latest music partner disrupting the footwear landscape with the forward-looking, visionary team.
“FCTRY LAb looks for creators who want to build product lines and brands together,” said Bailey. “By giving these artists, athletes, and creators the opportunity for profit sharing and equity ownership, we go beyond the typical collaboration fees and endorsement deals offered by most footwear brands. I’m a big fan of what Choppa is doing musically, collaborating on the Duck Boot with him has been inspiring, his entrepreneurial mindset really puts him ahead of the game.”

FCTRY LAb sold out of their first shoe, the “Knight RNR” created by Bailey, who has over 20 years of global product design and development experience creating footwear for entertainers such as Jay-Z and Lady Gaga, athletes such as current players Jalen Ramsey (Miami Dolphins), French Soccer Player Karim Benzema, Trent Williams (San Francisco 49ers) as well as former players José Bautista (Toronto Blue Jays) and Allan Houston(New York Knicks) in addition to working alongside culturally-impactful brands like Supreme, New Balance, K-Swiss and Timberland.
The Duck Boot takes a familiar shoe concept and makes it fun and exciting with the theme of yellow ducks, combined with innovative materials and exaggerated elements. Its design is driven by a distinctive exterior shape, making a bold statement in footwear fashion. Contrasting this bold exterior is an interior designed for ultimate comfort, with high-quality materials.
