You know when it comes to anything New Jersey, I am staying with it. So it’s a no-shocker-at-all I am fully saluting my brother Russ’ W!LD studio album. Holy smokes. Streaming goals, much?
Russ’ ‘W!LD’ album demands your immediate attention
From the ‘User Guide’ intro tune to turning up to nearly 20 other anthems, it’s clear Russ fully delivers with his newest studio effort.
Multi-platinum artist, producer, and New York Times best-selling author Russ released his sixth studio album W!LD - listen here. Entirely executive-produced by Russ, W!LD marks the beginning of a new chapter as he begins to explore the inner parts of himself that he hasn’t embraced up until now. The album includes production from Jake Jepson, Kiri Gerbs, Russ and more. W!LD boasts 19 tracks, featuring all previously released singles, “Crazy”, “Pent Up in a Penthouse”, “Movin”, and “April 7”.
In promoting his album, Russ is hosting three different fan activations. This past weekend he held a listening party in the desert in California and plans to host another in Atlanta this upcoming Sunday, which will be live-streamed on TikTok. Tonight, Russ has invited 25 fans to an exclusive listening party in a small listening room in Manhattan upon the release of W!LD.
W!LD comes ahead of Russ embarking on his headlining INTO THE W!LD TOUR, which is set to kick off on July 8th in Denver, CO at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The tour will run through major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto and more. Multi-Platinum artist, Big Sean and GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Sabrina Claudio will support on all dates. Get tickets here.
A champion for independent artists, Russ was recently awarded with Billboard’s coveted “Indie Trailblazer” Award at their Power Players event earlier this month. Aside from music, the multi-hyphenate recently became a New York Times best-selling author with the release of his second book “it was you all along”, exploring themes of empowerment and self-love. The book rose to top 10 in the world on Amazon with pre-sales, and charted as the #5 self-help book, and #1 best selling book in Rap & Hip Hop Musician Biographies. Russ recently featured in M. Night Shymalan’s latest film TRAP and up next, he will star in Don’t Move, the new film from director Maclain Nelson, James Murray (Impractical Jokers) and Darren Wearmouth.
