‘thinking feeling and experiencing a lot that i can’t name or place in this moment. besides understanding, grief, & connection. the world feels unwell, people feel unwell. we need each other a lot. in real tangible ways. connections, conversations, hobbies that hold us. nourish us. more time with land, more time with water, a major emphasis on the somatic… our minds are zooming at such a high speed with so much access to information i often wonder how any of us are in our bodies. truth is most of us aren’t. a lot of us are sick. a lot of us need neighbors, shared meals, accountability gym partners, sober buddies, “i can teach you” friends. mamas need living room couches with other mamas while the kids play. kids need bonus aunties & play cousins. a lot of need for God but there is often time so much interception in that connection.. a lot of disruption with humans, force, control & falsehood. i’d take everybody into the water if i could. two summers ago we took everybody that said they wanted to learn, at least once… and watched their inner child take precedence. if you ain’t a water baby i’m down to hike. if you ain’t a hiker i’m down to stretch. if you ain’t stretchy im down to cook, people usually always down to eat. i love you and i hope something makes you feel held today. nourish yourself. it’s a angel on my back that won’t let up about love. thank u for showing us what that shit really look like.’
