It feels like forever since hearing Talib Kweli and Mos Def a.k.a. Yasiin Bey both dropping new bars. But it feels even longer since we had a new Black Star album and them turning up in the recording studio.
Fortunately, everyone can hang tight and geek out with both hip-hop legends preparing to bless the world with a new studio effort. Talib relies on his Instagram page to share a snapshot of himself and Def with expectations now sky-high for lyrical greatness to arrive.
“The new Black Star album was recorded in hotel rooms and dressing rooms across the globe. I love how my brother @yasiinbey pushes me musically. #blackstarforever follow @blackstarkeepshining today...” -Talib Kweli
“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” -Fat Joe
