1900Rugrat: It’s energy and new sounds on the ‘Roll N’ Rock’ album

When it comes to signature Florida sounds - it’s all about what hip-hop artist 1900Rugrat brings to the table. How about a whole new sound with this Roll N’ Rock album? Oh yes.

Energy. Fun vibes. Pure fire. Fully tap in.

During his rise to fame on the back of several viral freestyles, 1900Rugrat proved that he can rap over any beat. Today, the 23-year-old South Florida native delivers his most diverse project to date, sharing Roll N' Rock, his new album. Following up this summer's Fireman, Roll N' Rock finds 19 working with a new sonic palette: the instrumentals boost the tempo, using analog synths to create a sound that evokes both 80s electro-funk and millenial "spaceship" R&B. 19 switches up his flow for each song, rhyming in sing-song cadences to turn his snapping punchlines into unforgettable hooks. The album spans 16 tracks, with highlights including the danceable recent single "What's Ya Name," which rides a neo-Neptunes bounce, the synth-y, laid back "Worry Bout Me," and title track "Roll N' Rock," which arrives with a brand new music video today at 3pm EST. Featuring guest spots from YNW Melly, Judah Weston, Warhol, and Hollywood Twins, Roll N' Rockis available on all platforms via Remain Solid / 300 Entertainment.

1900Rugrat's second project of the year, Roll N' Rock follows Fireman, a 21-track album released in June. Fireman is home to successful singles like "Dance Cracka" ft. BLP Kosher and "Every Season" ft. Skrilla, with additional guest spots from Hotboii, Slimesito, and 19's close friend Rickfrmdacreek. The June 2026 mixtape capitalized on the momentum of 1900Rugrat's massive 2025, highlighted by his placement on XXL's 2025 Freshman List and the release of his debut full-length Porch 2 Da Pent. That album hosted "One Take Freestyle," 19's GOLD-selling breakout hit, and the Kodak Black-featuring "One Take Freestyle" (Remix). The Limestone Creek, FL native released his second mixtape, Big Ah Kidz, later in 2025.

Since his emergence over the past two years, 1900Rugrat has established himself as one of the hardest-working emcees on the planet. He's earned praise from outlets like The New York Times, who praised "unpredictable rhyme choices" and his "preposterous punchlines," anointing him an "Artist to watch," and The FADER, who named him one of the 30 Coolest Artists Right Now. In recent months, 19 has collaborated with everyone from Tezzus to Star Bandz to That Mexican OT, appearing on remixes of songs by Skrilla and AB (aka former NFL receiver Antonio Brown). In addition to his music, 1900Rugrat is the CEO of his own BigAhKidz apparel company, which sells tees, polos, boy shorts, and, of course, rugs.

Stay tuned for much more from 1900Rugrat as his rise continues.
