Assault Suit Leynos 2: The physical ‘Saturn Tribute’ editions are officially up for grabs

My gaming goals these days are pretty nuts. So it’s no shocker I am all in on anything gaming-related especially in the form of Limited Run Games teasing physical versions of its Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute game.

We’re talking more than just the actual game. From a physical manual and dog tags to artwork plus collector’s box? I’m here for all the awesomeness as May 18 gets closer and closer.

Picture the scene…it’s 2123 AD. Space colonies facing the threat of overpopulation, rebel against orders from Earth, intent on becoming ever more independent. With the political turmoil at an all-time high, the sudden assassination of the Prime Minister of the Zenes federation, plunges the region into all-out war with the neighbouring Republic of Sanraal.

All of this is going on around you, and all you can think about is how to get your hands on a physical copy of Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute, the 32-bit sequel to the much-loved 1990s game ‘Assault Suit Leynos’, a retro beauty that recently released in the West for the very first time.

Well…suit up and worry no more, because Limited Run Games has your back. There are two physical editions of this non-stop robot action to feast your wallet upon, available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

The Standard Edition features a premium game manual along with your physical copy, but the Deluxe edition really rolls out the red carpet for your collector needs, and includes:

  • Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute Game

  • Collector's Box

  • Manual

  • Soundtrack

  • Dog Tags

  • Artbook

Pre-orders will open on April 15 at 12:00 EDT, and will close on May 18 at 11:59 PM EDT, so be sure to check out this 2D action mecha-fest from the past while you still can.
