BNXN & Sarz: The flexing is ‘Back Outside’ in the new visualizer

Love pure energy? Look no further than what BNXN and Sarz are serving up in 2026 with their ‘Back Outside’ heat. A mixture of workout goals and shooting practice - it’s big vibes in the visualizer.

Impressive. Energetic. Fun. Tap in.

BNXN and Sarz reunite on “Back Outside,” a confident new single, arriving today via EMPIRE, that marks BNXN’s first release in nearly 10 months since his chart-topping album, Captain. Bringing together one of Afrobeats’ defining voices of the streaming era with one of the producers who helped shape the genre’s global sound, the record unites two artists continuing to define where Afrobeats is headed next. It’s also a taste of their upcoming collab album, set to arrive later this year.

Driven by crisp percussion, fluid melodies, and undeniable momentum, “Back Outside” captures the feeling of re-emerging after a season of focus. BNXN’s melodic confidence and thoughtful songwriting meet Sarz’s polished, rhythm-forward production on a record designed for movement, connection, and repeat listens. It also builds on a creative partnership that has already produced standout records like “Gwagwalada” and “Pidgin & English.”

“Back Outside marks my first release in 290 days since Captain. It’s a breath of fresh air, an acknowledgment of intentional delay and all that it came with. More than anything, it reflects my current state of mind and a promise of what’s to come and more,” says BNXN.

“After ‘Gwagwalada’ and ‘Pidgin & English,’ it's only right we continue that chemistry with “Back Outside.” Working on this record with him helped me explore some African and South American sonic themes,” added Sarz.
