Cory Gunz & Shaquille O’Neal: It’s the one-two punch with their Kat & Brunson New York Knicks anthem

The champions are here so it’s only right New York’s own Cory Gunz comes through to salute the Knicks on their championship run with a Shaquille O’Neal-assisted ‘Kat & Brunson’ anthem.

Multi-platinum selling recording artist Cory Gunz and NBA champion, entertainer and recording artist Shaquille O’Neal have officially released their new collaboration, “Kat & Brunson,” on all digital streaming platforms and it can be streamed HERE

Produced by Brooklyn producer Asethic Hamilton“Kat & Brunson” is a celebratory New York anthem inspired by the Knicks’ championship victory and the citywide excitement surrounding the team’s historic parade. Built around triumph, hometown pride and the energy of a city united by a championship, the track brings together hip-hop and basketball culture during one of New York’s biggest sports moments.

The official AI-generated video, which can be watched HERE, transports Cory Gunz and Shaquille O’Neal into the middle of a reimagined Knicks championship parade. Set against packed New York streets, orange-and-blue celebrations and recognizable city scenery, the visual also features AI-generated cameos from Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.

After initially giving audiences a first look at the visual through Instagram, Cory and Shaq are now bringing the complete official video to YouTube as “Kat & Brunson” becomes available across all major streaming services.

The collaboration connects two figures with deep ties to hip-hop. Cory delivers the technical lyricism and dynamic presence that have defined his career while Shaq continues his longstanding relationship with rap music following a recording career that includes platinum-selling releases and collaborations with some of the genre’s most recognizable artists.

“Kat & Brunson” also extends Cory Gunz’s recent run of momentum. His “WYFL” freestyle surpassed 3 million views and was selected for multiple Apple Music playlists including New in Hip-Hop, Viral Hip-Hop, BARS, The New New York and more.

The freestyle further showcased Cory’s lyrical ability while expanding his reach across digital platforms and introducing his music to a new wave of listeners.

About Cory Gunz

Cory Gunz is a multi-platinum-selling recording artist who is best known for delivering iron-clad East Coast bars. Gunz got his start in the music industry at age 14, by inking a deal with Tommy Mottola at Casablanca Records and Def Jam Recordings. Jay-Z then shepherded him into a joint venture through The Island Def Jam Music Group.
