F1 25: The wait’s over for a full-fledged Season 4 survival run
Feel like loading up your F1 25 gaming goals through the new year? Say less. It’s all about EA coming through with a massive fourth season of fire content demanding your attention.
It’s all in the thrill and excitement of elimination mode with the fourth season’s survival challenge rollout. Peep the deets.
Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today launches its fourth season of content for F1® 25, the official game of the FIA Formula One World Championship™. Running from November 12 through January 6, 2026, Season 4 introduces a new, nail-biting way for players to compete, the latest Drivers Ratings update, and a line-up of rewards celebrating the creativity and colour of the 2025 Formula 1® season.
Survival Challenge – a new, quick-fire, instant-action game mode – brings the intensity of Formula 1® to life through thrilling elimination rounds. With five cars battling and DRS available from Lap 1, each race is a high-stakes sprint where only one driver makes it to the finish. Players will earn Survival Tokens based on their performance, unlocking special rewards that celebrate the creativity and style of the real-life grid.*
Across Season 4, fans can exchange their Tokens for some of the year’s most eye-catching designs: from Ferrari’s iconic Monza livery and the special-edition Red Bull in Japan, to the striking “Orange Lion” Max Verstappen helmet and George Russell’s vibrant pink Miami lid, with plenty more available. For full details on the new format and all available rewards, visit the Formula 1® game blog.
Each Season in F1® 25 brings a refreshed set of Driver Ratings, with the latest update analysing real-world performances from Azerbaijan to Brazil. A series of ‘smooth operations’ from Carlos Sainz – including securing Williams’ first full-points podium since 2017 in Baku and scoring six points in the Austin Sprint – has seen the Spaniard’s Rating rise. With just a handful of races left, the 2025 F1® rookies who continue to impress also receive recognition for their progress. This update also sees Argentinian driver Franco Colapinto join the grid, replacing Jack Doohan at Alpine – a change that applies across all modes, though in Career it will only affect new save games. Full Driver Ratings will be revealed tomorrow here.
F1® 25 is available now on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Fans who purchase the Iconic Edition unlock additional content, including the Lewis Hamilton Iconic Pack, F3™ Driver Icons Pack, and 18,000 PitCoin.
To learn more about what’s included in Season 4, visit the Formula 1® game blog and follow its social channels.
*Requires F1® 25 (sold separately) and all game updates. Rewards are unlocked based on completion of or ranking in the event.
