Fendi P: It’s a New Orleans cinematic flex in the ‘Favors & Funerals’ music video

New Orleans glowing up? You bet. It’s all about keeping the Jet Life Recordings movement going strong with hip-hop artist Fendi P showing out courtesy of his ‘Favors & Funerals’ music video.

The song goes hard but it’s the second official visual from the upcoming Monsta P album. Fully tap in.

A standout signee to Curren$y's Jet Life Recordings, New Orleans native Fendi P is a master of refined luxury raps. Ready to elevate with his upcoming tape Monsta P, a collaboration with renowned producer MonstaBeatz, Fendi shares "Favors and Funerals," the tape's intro, along with its music video. On the new song, Monsta Beatz rolls out a red carpet for Fendi, in the form of airy synths, ear-teasing arpeggios, and seismic bass drops, creating a hazy atmosphere that perfectly fits Fendi's laid-back style. Fendi twirls nonchalant flexes out of an insistent cadence: "Waking up to more hate, eatin' we need more plates/Still buying cars like our driveway don't need more space,"he spits. In the video, Fendi swims in a sea of haze, alternating clips of his performances with clips of him chilling on the East Side of New Orleans.

"Favors & Funerals" is the opening track to Monsta P, Fendi's upcoming album. A full-length collaboration with MonstaBeatz, the producer behind iconic hits by Curren$y, Lil Wayne, Takeoff, and more, the album is home to Fendi's recent single "Cassette Deck 2." A sumptuous slice of luxury raps, Fendi's Monsta P album arrives on October 28th via Jet Life Recordings.

Respected in his hometown and beyond for his fresh stylings and easygoing confidence, Fendi P first signed to Jet Life nearly more than 10 years ago. He drew attention with his album Late Nights, Early Mornings, which featured guest spots from Curren$y, Lil Wayne, Project Pat, and more. In 2020, Fendi connected with Curren$y for Smokin' Patnas, a collaborative full-length, and in 2022, he interrogated both sides of his personality with Corner Boy vs. Fendi. Fendi has kept busy over the past year, connecting with DJ.fresh for World's Freshest P, an installment in Dj.fresh's legendary The Tonite Show series, and teamed with fellow Jet Lifer Marco Denelle for the Duvaleans tape, released earlier in 2026.

With Monsta P on the way, Fendi is ready to prove what real ones in his city already know. Stay tuned for much more from Fendi P and Jet Life as the year dwindles down.
