SiriusXM and hip hop mogul Jeezy today announced the launch of Jeezy’s Thug Motivation Radio, an exclusive new pop-up channel curated by the Atlanta MC himself that takes listeners on a journey through his legendary career in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his game-changing debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, and Black Music Month.
The limited-run channel is available to subscribers in their cars on channel 79 from June 25 through July 1 and on the SiriusXM app from June 4 through July 3.
Jeezy’s Thug Motivation Radio tells the story of how the rap trailblazer made his name through hand-picked music and exclusive personal anecdotes that reveal his unique hustle and journey to the top. Listeners can hear the biggest tracks from Jeezy’s extensive catalog along with his hottest collaborations, hidden gems and music from the artists that inspired him including Tupac, Jay-Z and more. The channel also spotlights Jeezy’s iconic debut album that shifted the rap genre and started it all, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, in commemoration of its 20th anniversary.
In celebration of the channel launch, SiriusXM will host a special Playback with Jeezy in front of a live audience at the SiriusXM Atlanta studios on Monday, June 23. The exclusive event will feature Jeezy playing and discussing various tracks from Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the album.
