Breaking away from his early roots as a rising rap star, Lil Mosey leans further into the pop and R&B space with “Selfish” — a melodic, emotionally vulnerable track that fuses raw lyricism with lush production. The single explores the struggles of vulnerability in love, the weight of emotional scars, and the desire to heal and grow beyond a toxic past. Listen here.
Of the single, Mosey says,“For me this song (‘Selfish’) is just who I am. This is what I like to do. I love making music and I just make whatever feels right. I didn’t go into this thinking about what type of song I wanted to make… I just wanted to make a good song, and it happened naturally.”
Long known for Billboard-charting rap hits like “Blueberry Faygo” and “Noticed,” Mosey continues to redefine expectations with his evolving sound. “Selfish” is another bold step in his journey toward artistic freedom.
