Method Man, U-God and Benny the Butcher: The ‘Warriors Two, Cooley High’ is cinematic flexing
Love fire hip-hop? Then look no further than Wu-Tang Clan coming through clutch with the ‘Warriors Two, Cooley High/Roar of the Lion’ music video.
The usual flexing from Method Man but adding in Benny the Butcher plus U-God? I’m here for it.
The official music video for Warriors Two, Cooley High / Roar of the Lion by Wu-Tang Clan, Mathematics, Method Man, U-God and Benny the Butcher is officially out! This powerful new mash-up is featured as an excerpt from the upcoming short film inspired by the Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman LP.
Method Man is seen delivering his verse in front of a raging inferno under a gray hoodie, while U-God is tearing through bars in a black leather jacket against a stark black-and-white backdrop, the visual is a visceral display of power, legacy, and raw artistry.
Simultaneously, Black Samson: The Bastard Swordsman returns in deluxe form, now featuring the brand-new track “Sinners” — a soul-heavy, confessional cipher featuring Wu-Tang Clan, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, Jamal, and produced by Mathematics. Inspired by the spirit of Mo’ Better Blues, “Sinners” is gritty, gripping, and generational.
Fans can catch Wu-Tang and Mathematics performing “Roar of the Lion” and “Mandingo” live on the 'Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chapter tour, with Mathematics behind the turntables as the Clan’s official DJ. The deluxe edition builds on the impact of the original Black Samson LP, released via 36 Chambers and Ruffnation Entertainment, which debuted with 5,000 exclusive unique covers and features all nine Wu members for the first time since 2014.
