Produced by Nic Nac, Count Bassy and Jacob Olofsson, the track arrives just in time for summer with a catchy, upbeat energy. Pulling from classic hip-hop influences while keeping a modern feel, “2POPS” taps into Tyga’s signature style with a memorable hook and fun production. The release follows last month’s announcement that Tyga will expand his creative footprint into feature filmmaking with Baby, You’re A Star, a coming-of-age musical drama currently in production in Portland. The project marks Tyga’s feature film debut in a starring role, with him also serving as co-writer and producer.
