Baby Money: The ‘Boobie Trap’ music video is pure flexing and grind talk

When it comes to the summertime vibes, it’s clear rap artist Baby Money isn’t slowing down - at all. Instead, he’s going hard with the anthems and showing out with his Less Is More studio album plus the newly released ‘Boobie Trap’ music video.

Forget daytime fun, it’s demon time and flexing after hours in the cinematic drop. Completely tap in.

A force in his hometown of Detroit and beyond, Baby Money is a rapper that never slows his consistent grind. Today, he returns with a new video for "Boobie Trap," a highlight from his recently released full-length, Less Is More. A high-octane heater, "Boobie Trap," gets its power from kinetic and pulsing production, providing an ideal canvas for Baby Money to deliver his street-savvy bars in style. In the video, directed by 2M Digital, Baby Money heads to Miami and squads up in front of a brigade of luxury whips, counting racks as he and his team reign supreme.

Home to recent singles like the simmering "Armageddon," a collaboration with respected Eastside rapper G.T., the creeping "Ten," and the triumphant "Wow," Less Is More establishes Baby Money as Detroit's most charismatic money-getter, bringing words of motivation for aspiring moguls and harsh taunts for his opposition. The rapper's authoritative delivery fits perfectly atop the propulsive Michigan production, his matter-of-fact pronouncements delivered with a commanding conviction that could convince anyone to go out and start getting money. The album earned coverage in XXL, VIBE, and more, and peaked at #19 on Apple Music's Hip-Hop Albums chart. Featuring additional guest appearances from Rio Da Yung OG, Chicken P and OMB Peezy, Less Is More is available on all platforms via Third Eye Ent. / EMPIRE.

Since his emergence in the late 2010s, 27-year-old Baby Money developed a reputation as one of Detroit's most exciting and skilled young rappers. He stood out even amidst a crowded scene of rappers from his state with his stankface-inducing wordplay and authoritative flexes, rhyming with the gravitas of an OG and the hunger of a young striver. He broke through onto the national confidence with street hits like "Tables Turn," "Get Dangerous," and the Pitchfork-acclaimed "Moncler Bubble." Baby Money's run earned him a deal with Quality Control in 2023, and garnered attention from Billboard in an article about the ascendant Detroit scene. After releasing several projects with QC, Baby Money is freshly independent and ready to grind, continuing his mission to rise from the West Side of Detroit to the top of the rap game.

With Less Is More out now, Baby Money starts a new chapter of his career. Baby Money will appear on select dates with Rio Da Yung OG on his "Welcome Home" Tour. Buy tickets HERE
