Taking cues from a three-time Super Bowl champion QB, Moochie compares himself to "Patrick Mahomes" in his new video and single. Produced by Memphis hitmaker King Wonka, "Patrick Mahome" brings insistent 808s and stuttering synths for Moochie to tiptoe over, as he piles up flexes with a nimble flow: "Thursday, got the block hotter than Satan/Friday and Saturday, we pop out with dem Haitians/Trappin' on Sunday, we still goin' crazy/Gon' wrap the Maybach for special occasions," he spits. In the video, Moochie heads from the trap to the gridiron, as he puts on Mahomes' #15 Chiefs jersey and prepares to quarterback his PRE team to victory.
"Patrick Mahomes" follows "Bad Pill" as the latest glimpse of EAT OR GET ATE 2 (Deluxe), Moochie's next project. The new project expands the East Memphis rapper's 2024 mixtape, which earned praise from XXL, The FADER, VIBE, and more. Last week, Moochie returned to the original tracklist to share "Ice Age," staking his claim as the coldest rapper in the South. Adding eight new tracks to the album, EAT OR GET ATE 2 (Deluxe) arrives on May 30th via Paper Route Empire.
EAT OR GET ATE 2 (Deluxe) continues Moochie's run as one of Memphis's most unstoppable street rappers. Home to tracks like "Crip Blue Hunnids" (1.6 million YouTube views) and "Wake Em Up," EAT OR GET ATE 2 follows up Moochie's November 2023 project, East Haiti Baby: Incarcerated, a deluxe version of his 2022 mixtape released while Moochie was incarcerated and welcomed guest spots from fellow incarcerated rappers like YFN Lucci, Rio Da Yung OG, Bankroll Freddie, and PRE's own Big Unccc.
