E-40 & JasonMartin: It’s bright lights and late nights in the ‘Too Much’ music video

Feel like needing a summertime flex without the hottest season of the year being here yet? Say less. It’s all coming courtesy of hip-hop great E-40 teaming up with rap artist JasonMartin for their ‘Too Much’ gem.

The song goes hard but how about taking it another level with the single’s official music video? Tap in.

Multi platinum musician and entrepreneur E-40 announced the release of his new single “Too Much,”featuring fellow California native, JasonMartin previously known as Problem, available now on all platforms HERE via Heavy On The Grind Entertainment/Virgin Music.

“Too Much” is raw, unfiltered, and rooted in real-life game. Over piano-laced production and classic Bay Area bounce, E-40 cuts through the noise with his signature slick talk and unmistakable flow: “It’s too much real s** going on, quit worrying about the fake.”

The track blends E-40’s timeless perspective with JasonMartin’s confident delivery, serving as a no-filter anthem about staying focused and letting go of distractions. It’s a reminder that in a world full of noise and clout-chasing, authenticity still hits hardest.

The release follows E-40’s standout Tiny Desk Concert for NPR, where he kicked off Black Music Month with a performance that spanned more than three decades of influential hits—cementing his legacy as one of the most respected and consistent voices in hip-hop. The video exploded over the internet quickly becoming YouTube’s #4 most watched video. Watch the viral, head-bopping 26-minute performance  HERE.

With “Too Much,” E-40 proves once again why he remains one of hip-hop’s most respected voices—sharpened by experience, grounded in truth, and always ahead of the curve.

Last month, E-40 released the new Bay Area anthem “Beating They Ass”— his first music release since November 2023, when he released his latest album, Rule of Thumb: Rule 1. He also previously appeared on Cousin Fik’s high-octane, strip club anthem“Thangin.”
