Fredo Bang: The rap crooner pours his heart out into cuffing season goals with the ‘Baby Please’ music video

There’s never any holding back when it comes to rap crooner Fredo Bang. So how about seeing him showing out on the new ‘Baby Please’ music video? Tough.

It’s heartfelt emotion and explicit honesty in the visually stimulating drop. Tap in.

Baton Rouge rapper Fredo Bang is back with a new release just in time to mend your relationship ahead of Valentines day with his new single “Baby Please,” out now via EMPIRE. The release comes alongside an official music video, offering fans a softer, more vulnerable side of the usually hard-edged artist.

Over gritty 808s softened by a twinkling piano loop, Fredo steps away from his usual hard-edged street anthems and into a more vulnerable, intimate lane. “Baby Please” finds him in a melodic, more confessional mode, pleading for another chance as he owns his past mistakes, and lets his desire spill through with unfiltered honesty, jumping between emotional confession and raw physical longing.

The accompanying music video directed by Frankie Fine mirrors that duality. Sweeping city lights frame scenes of a playboy lifestyle, with Fredo tossing money in a penthouse, contrasted by more intimate moments that reveal the vulnerability beneath the surface. The visual underscores the song’s central push and pull between ego and emotion, excess and sincerity.

Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Fredo Bang has carved out his own lane by pairing raw emotion with melodic street rap. He broke onto the national scene in 2018 with “Oouuh,” now RIAA Gold certified, and quickly followed with Gold-certified “Trust Issues” and the Platinum hit “Top” featuring Lil Durk. His momentum has only continued with recent releases like the Kreature Muzik EP and the single “Young Ready,” alongside headlining national tours and regular appearances at major festivals such as Rolling Loud. With fan-favorite projects including Most Hated and In the Name of Gee, Fredo has surpassed 1 billion global streams, built a following of over 6 million across social platforms, and earned multiple RIAA certifications and high-profile collaborations with Lil Durk, YNW Melly, and Moneybagg Yo. Backed by co-signs from 50 Cent and Kevin Gates, Fredo Bang continues to amplify his rise, solidifying his status as one of Baton Rouge’s most dominant rap exports.
