GASHI & G-Eazy: It’s a wild celebration in the ‘RINGS’ music video

There’s no sitting still whenever GASHI and G-Eazy link up. So how about seeing them turning up with their hard-hitting ‘RINGS’ music video? Toughness.

It’s pure energy and I’m here for this anthem from start to finish. Completely tap in.

With upbeat production that resounds as loud as loyal Knicks fans outside of MSG, “Rings” is built on a beat that hits as hard as a two-handed jam and lyrics that read like a highlight reel. Gashi and G-Eazy represent the East and West Coasts with relentless bars, celebrating their all-star achievements and demanding the recognition they’ve earned — or as they put it, their “rings.” From clever punchlines to niche basketball references (“Thought I was Luka ‘cause I’m in LA a lot/Ain’t worried about no clocks, Steph Curry with the shot”), every bar is rooted in the rhythm and hustle of the game. The video finds the duo turning up at G-Eazy’s show in Toronto, where they first previewed the new single.

“Rings” is the fourth single to arrive from his sixth studio album, The Killah Whales of Gotham, following last week’s “Manicures On Board,” the March-released Halos & Dracos,” and February’s “Pen Pals” ft. Jimi Banks. Additionally, the new single arrives after Gashi’s sold-out Paris performance alongside DJ Snake. With the new album on the way, Gashi is lacing up his Jordan and running full speed ahead into the next chapter of his career. Stay tuned for The Killah Whales of Gotham, out everywhere this summer via Orca Sound Records.
