GAT$: It’s a black and white flex in the gritty ‘Cheapskate’ music video

I’m here for fire flexing so it’s a no-brainer seeing rap artist Gat$ and CHASETHEMONEY together in their ‘Cheapskate’ music video? Super tough.

Pure energy and flexing on display. Geek out.

Fresh on the heels of his last release, "White Bronco" featuring Reason

Gat$ is back with "Cheapskate". A gritty, hypnotizing track that openly calls out all posers and fakers hiding behind unauthentic facades and lyrics.  The stark black and white visuals provide an edgy feel to the song, allowing Gat$ rhymes to take center stage. Their first collaboration in 5 years, Gat$ teams up with CHASETHEMONEY, the wunderkind producer to create this head banger.  Directed by Roberta Rivera and Jan-Michael Reyes, “Cheapskate” is the second single from his full length project, Life On Film scheduled for release this Spring.

Bringing that same energy to his performances, he's been a crowd favorite at Rolling Loud since the music festival started and he's set the SXSW stage on fire.  Originally hailing from Tampa, Gat$ is a certified, rising star.  He's been name checked by fellow Floridian, and Grammy award winner Doechii in one of her interviews and he's held his own rocking the mic with Denzel Curry, Danny Brown and Freddie Gibbs.

Gat$’ ambition to create his own lane fueled a move from the south to the left coast landing him in Los Angeles, CA. Determined and dedicated, his MC and production skills caught the ears and attention of Roc Nation.   Aligning with Equity Distribution and inking a multi-project, distribution label deal allows Gat$ to record, release and distribute projects under his own Robbafella Records imprint.
