ian: The ‘Shut It Down’ music video is your official summer flex

Just keeping it 100? The song alone demands full repeat mode but my goodness if hip-hop artist ian isn’t fully delivering with the solid ‘Shut It Down’ music video.

Way more than just turning up in a studio, ian takes his energy from a private jet runway to the actual skies throwing down and not showing signs of slowing down - at all. It’s the ultimate summertime flex. Completely tap in.

After previewing the song late last summer to feverish fans, ian is dropping the official music video for "Shut It Down" produced by 2hollis. This marks the first official collaboration for the two artists. In the visual directed by Tycho, ian takes center stage on a private jet. Watch HERE. Today's drop comes just days after ian was announced as apart of XXL's 2025 Freshman Class, stamping him as one of this generations new wave of superstars.

After his rapid ascent to stardom fueled by viral breakout 2024 projects Valedictorian and Goodbye Horses, the newly 20-year-old rapper is committed to giving fans more music and visuals. ian shook up the game upon arrival earlier last year with his debut Valedictorian [Deluxe] generating hundreds of millions of streams fueled by “Magic Johnson” and the follow up Goodbye Horses, boasting over 200 million streams each in their own respects. As he focuses on new music, ian is pushing beyond the viral moments and doing what’s always come naturally: continuing to evolve.
