Maliibu Miitch: It’s an all-out baddie face-off in the Wif3y music video
Rap baddie Maliibu Miitch showing out? You better believe it. It’s jaw-dropping action and fun going down in the ‘Wif3y’ music video.
Eye-opening and steamy feels? You bet. Lose yourself in the wet and wild visual.
Bronx-gritty with a designer finish, Maliibu Miitch has built a reputation as one of New York's most versatile emcees, switching flows the way she switches outfits, without missing a beat. She's back with "Wif3y,"a new single and video out now via MNRK Music Group.
On "Wif3y," Maliibu Miitch lays out her price of admission plainly: "if you ain't spending money, how I'ma know if you like me." Produced by Music MajorX and SK, the hook keeps things sweet and melodic, but the verses flip fast, cutting between playful flexes and sharper, more direct bars that have the record moving without ever settling into one gear. A couple of lines get personal too, one nodding to her Vietnamese and Filipino roots, another to her being a Pisces, both pulled from her actual life rather than just a punchline.
Directed by Nimi Hendrix, the "Wif3y" video puts the song's competitive streak on screen. Shot inside a makeshift ring built around an inflatable pool, with round cards held up between rounds and a cash prize on the line, the clip follows a lineup of women squaring off before Maliibu Miitch steps in for round two, American flag bikini and cut-off denim, and walks away with both the win and the money.
