Myka 9, Blu & Medusa: It’s a chill, AI-powered flex in the ‘Ma’at’ music video

You have to love creativity even when it comes from A.I. - so lean back and embrace all Myka 9, Blu and Medusa have to offer with their ‘Ma’at’ anthem turned into a solid music video.

Impressive. Cool. Must-see. You know the vibes. Tap in.

Rhyme innovator Myka 9 of the legendary Freestyle Fellowshiprecently linked with L.A. rap savant Blu for the acclaimed album God Takes Care Of Babies & Fools.  Now, these two iconic lyricists are debuting an exciting new music video for the standout track "Ma'at", crafted by famed musical and visual artist Shiro Fujioka (@voltagectrlr) using AI technology.

Featuring West Coast underground hip-hop luminary Medusa the Gangsta Goddess, the track pays homage to an ancient Egyptian deity representing truth, justice, and cosmic balance.  "Shiro was one of the first people I saw execute AI utilizing hip-hop, soul music and jazz at a high level, and it was an honor to connect with him," says Blu.  "'Ma'at' is about balance, truth, and judgment, concepts that reverberate deeply in an atmosphere shaped by algorithms," adds Myka 9.  "Having Shiro create the video with AI felt thematically honest, allowing modern tools to reinterpret these ancient ideas through a contemporary lens."  Now available on digital outlets, CD, and vinyl, God Takes Care Of Babies & Foots is entirely produced by acclaimed NYC artist Mono En Stereo and features Freestyle Fellowship, Planet Asia, The Pharcyde, A-F-R-O, Exile, Abstract Rude, and more.
