Nasg Chaz: It’s an official turn up flex with the Beat Up Or Not music video here

I have to admit - the energy and flexing going down courtesy of hip-hop artist Nasg Chaz with this ‘Beat Up Or Not’ music video? My goodness.

Pure energy and flexing completely on display in this new visual. Tap in.

With a nimble, yet hard-hitting flow and a hustle-hard mentality, NASG Chaz plans to be the next big star to break out of Baltimore. The 23-year-old rapper follows up his viral hit "Outta Town" with "Beat Up Or Not," a club-ready new single and music video. Taking inspiration from his hometown's high-octane club sound, "Beat Up Or Not" is a propulsive and danceable banger, showcasing Chaz's X-rated flexes about his ways with women (his main girls are jealous, his side women love him so much that they don't mind getting beaten up by the main girls) over a minimalist, kick-driven instrumental. In the video, Chaz and his crew comment on the rapper's recent run of sold out dates before they head to the club, drawing a crowd of paparazzi and a bevy of Baltimore's baddest as they throw down to his new anthem.

A fixture in the DMV rap scene since he was a teenager, NASG Chaz's recent moves have him well on his way to national recognition. Making his name with successful mixtapes like 2024's OFF THE DON and his collaborations with fellow Baltimoreans like Yg Teck, Chaz has been on a red hot run since dropping "DID MY SH*T" in 2025. With over 1.5 million streams across platforms, the song was one of the biggest Baltimore club anthems of the year, earning the attention of tastemakers like Cardi B, who posted "DID MY SH*T" on her story and brought Chaz onstage during her Baltimore tour date.

Chaz kept the momentum going in late 2025 with his single, "Illegal," before reaching another level of success with "Outta Town," his brand new anthem. An earworm that blends an emotional guitar-loop with heavy trap percussion, "Outta Town" shows another side of Chaz, as he delivers fast-paced, yet soulful melodies about his rise from the grind to his current luxurious lifestyle: "I remember robbin' n****s for they money. They can have it back, don't need it now/F*ck around and rob a n**** just for nothin'/Take his money, leave it on the ground," he lilts. Released on May 13th, the song has become a local hit, inspiring a dance on TikTok off its snippet, and racking up over 1 million streams and 344k YouTube views to date.

With a large and growing fanbase in his city and much more music to come, NASG Chaz is primed to bring his Baltimore sound to the forefront of the rap game. Stay tuned for more.
