Clipse: Pusha T and Malice’s first album in 15 years drops this summer
Ready to feel nostalgic with a twist of modern flexing? How about looking forward to hip-hop duo Pusha T and Malice - Clipse - delivering a full-fledged Let God Sort Em Out studio album to the masses in the coming weeks? Say less.
Clipse’s ‘Let God Sort Em Out’ album releases July 11
The wait’s almost over for King Push and his rhyming sidekick Malice coming through with a new studio effort. The project getting a full Pharrell Williams production, too? It’s starting to feel like 2002 all over again.
Clipse has announced their highly-anticipated fourth studio album - and first new project as a duo in over fifteen years - LET GOD SORT EM OUT, is set to be released on July 11th. The announcement, long-awaited by Clipse’s legions of diehard fans, is heralded by the new single “Ace Trumpets.”
For the release of LET GOD SORT EM OUT, Clipse - the legendary hip-hop duo made up of brothers Pusha T and Malice - have enlisted an all-star team comprised of longtime collaborators, as well as exciting new partners; LGSEO is produced entirely by Pharrell Williams with artwork and design by KAWS, and will be marketed and distributed in partnership with Roc Nation.
LP, CD and Digital Pre-Orders, as well as a limited merchandise collection featuring artwork from KAWS, are now available exclusively at LETGODSORTEMOUT.COM. In the coming weeks, the store will feature new drops of limited, exclusive merch designed by some of the most influential names in streetwear.
Pharrell Williams, the multi-hyphenate artist/producer/designer, produced Clipse’s trilogy of instant-classic albums - Lord Willin’, Hell Hath No Fury and Til The Casket Drops - providing a sparse, kinetic sonic backdrop for Pusha T and Malice’s vivid, venomous tales of street enterprise. Kaws, the internationally renowned visual artist/sculptor and graphic designer, first collaborated with Clipse nearly two decades ago, providing cover art for their 2009 album Til The Casket Drops.
Clipse have sparked reunion rumors and ramped up excitement for a new project since the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards, when Malice joined Pusha T on stage for a show stopping version of their classic “Grindin’.” A 2023 headlining show at the ‘Something In The Water’ Festival - and a runway appearance at Pharell’s debut collection for Louis Vuitton - only turned up the heat. The duo returned to Paris in 2024 for the Louis Vuitton SS25 collection, and teased a brand new track from Clipse featuring John Legend. Last month, Pusha T released a new snippet to soundtrack his Met Ball recap. And this week, Clipse teased a photo of the duo at Roc Nation’s NYC headquarters - in front of the ubiquitous Paper Planes logo - setting the stage for a new chapter in the group’s vaunted history.
Stay tuned for more on Clipse and their highly-anticipated album LET GOD SORT EM OUT…
