GIVĒON: The wait’s almost over for the crooner’s ‘Beloved’ studio album

Need some fire R&B this summer? Look no further than crooner GIVĒON giving fans something to look forward to with his BELOVED studio album slated to arrive in the coming weeks.

GIVĒON promises ‘BELOVED’ will arrive this summer

While you’ll have to wait for the LP to drop on July 11, the hitmaker is setting tones putting out new tunes like his ‘Rather Be’ single to set the moods right.

Multi-platinum, seven-time GRAMMY®-nominated R&B superstar GIVĒON has formally announced his second studio album, BELOVED, July 11th. The forthcoming release is led by the hit single “Twenties,” and the album’s second single, “Rather Be,” released this month.

BELOVED marks the end of a multi-year hiatus for GIVĒON, whose proper debut album, Give or Take, released in 2022. BELOVED features production from Matthew Burnett, Jahaan Sweet, Gitty, Sevn Thomas, Maneesh and more.

BELOVED is on its way and is available for pre-order here.

Twenties,” the lead single, has shot up the charts and gotten GIVĒON’s BELOVED era off to a hot start. The cathartic ballad earned GIVĒON the fourth Billboard Hot 100 hit of his career earlier this year and has peaked inside the Top 10 of the Hot R&B Songs Chart and the Top 20 of the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart. It has generated over 13 million YouTube views, a New York Times co-sign, and GIVĒON performed the record at a pre-Met Gala even for Prada. “Twenties” has already become the latest of an impressive line of signature performances in GIVĒON’s career.

The success of “Twenties” was followed by the sleek single and music video, “Rather Be,” which earned a ‘Songs You Need This Week’ nod from Rolling Stone upon release. Momentum has continued to abound for GIVĒON.

During his groundbreaking debut and star turn from 2020 to 2021, GIVĒON released two full-length projects, When It’s All Said and Done… Take Time and Give or Take, as well as four smash hits, including the 3x-platinum “Like I Want You” and the 6x-platinum “Heartbreak Anniversary.” As a result, the Long Beach, CA-native ascended to bonafide R&B superstardom. He performed two headlining tours, Timeless Tour and Give or Take Tour, in 2021 and 2022, and expanded his musical portfolio to include signature collaborations with Afrobeat star Arya Beats, “Last Heartbreak Song,” and breakthrough R&B star Teddy Swims, “Are U Even Real.”

“Are U Even Real” recently earned a 2025 BET Awards nomination, for ‘Best Collaboration,’ and hit no.1 on Billboard Adult R&B Airplay Charts making it one of the true breakthrough success stories of the year in R&B.

Back in the spotlight, GIVĒON is set to deliver yet another explosive and pure R&B performance, his first album in over three years. Pre-order BELOVED today.
