You know there’s ample fire when you have music videos getting NEWS treatment around these parts - but it’s also another level of awesomeness when it comes to Kenny Muney. His new ‘Don’t Worry About Me’ visual? Must-see.
Kenny Muney completely delivers with his ‘Don’t Worry About Me’ music video
There’s too many fire things going down with Kenny in 2026. New music is one thing but new visuals, too? Completely geek out over the tidbit news and newest cinematic drop.
As Memphis rap continues to shape the sound of Southern hip-hop, Kenny Muney is doubling down on his momentum. Fresh off the release of Muney Talk 2: The Encore Edition via Paper Route Empire, Kenny just dropped the official music video for the album’s intro "Don't Worry About Me," out today. On the track blessed with a dramatic instrumental adorned with glistening piano chords and emotional vocal samples, courtesy Aimonmyneck, Kenny lays out his mission statement – success against all odds. The accompanying visual sees Kenny rhyming in the rain, cutting an imposing hooded silhouette before he sets his apartment ablaze. I would love to coordinate a news post or coverage around the release – would that be possible?
Kenny Muney is known for his silky smooth flow and smirking punchlines, which have made him one of Memphis's most exciting rappers. The self-made hip-hop artist from the city’s south side continues to build on a resume that includes handfuls of videos streaming in the high six figures. With Muney Talk 2, he’s reminding listeners of the drive that got him here in the first place. On this 11-track follow-up to fan favorite Muney Talk, Kenny looks back at his early days. By applying six years of hard-won lessons, he uses the project to commemorate how much he’s grown since his debut. The new mixtape includes previous singles like “Skincare,” whose music video shows Kenny proudly repping PRE with a diamond-encrusted chain, and the boisterous “Papi’s Home.” The album is also home to standout releases “24 Hours,” the romantic “Trunk Full Of Flowers” and “Bro We Up,” which he performed for Audiomack when he was visiting NYC last month. Elsewhere on the track list are exciting verses from Key Glock, Peezy, Sauce Walka, and Beo Lil Kenny. With media support from BET, Complex, Lyrical Lemonade, Consequence, UPROXX, AllHipHop, VIBE, and HipHopDX among others, it’s time to ring in Kenny Muney season.
