Luhh Dyl & NoCap: The duo team up for a heartfelt and honest ‘Still Having Problems’

Sometimes issues aren’t resolved overnight. So it’s only right to let hip-hop artists Luhh Dyl and NoCap team up for their ‘Still Having Problems’ anthem to let their thoughts loose - good and bad.

The song hits the soul and goes nearly four minutes long but it’s the music video accompanying it to really drive the message home. Get caught up in the emotions.

Luhh Dyl made noise in 2025 with his intricate wordplay and unique sonic palette, layering his flow above acoustic guitars to work through his troubles. Today, the 21-year-old Detroit native looks to make an even bigger splash this year, connecting with NoCap for "Still Having Problems," his first single of the year. Cutting through an acoustic guitar loop with a moving melody, Dyl imagines alternate realities where he isn't a rapper and needs to find other ways to exercise his brain: "If I weren't a rapper I'd probably be somewhere with a telescope," he intones. Meanwhile, NoCap taps into Dyl's wavelength, reflecting on his daily trauma with his trademark wit: "I might never reach my goals, I may never sleep at night/Even though I call you my twin, this sh*t ain't the same," he sings.

This is Dyl's second single since the release of his 2025 full-length, Hear My Cry, which earned a spot on Pitchfork's Best Rap Albums of 2025 list, and earned him recognition from Complex as one of this year's "Rappers To Watch." Avoiding the rattling bass and dramatic keyboard arpeggios that have become Detroit's sonic hallmark, Dyl developed his own sound on the new album, working with producers like A-Lau, 4head, TurnMeUpMarr, and Audiojacc, weaving in unexpected samples, including samples of songs by artists like John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Kid Cudi, and Pinegrove, and gentle acoustic guitars to mirror his contemplative rhymes.
