Mike Epps: The comedy legend is coming to my fave Garden State venue NJPAC September 20
If you’ve ever had an opportunity to hit up a huge Tri-State venue like Yankee Stadium and Barclays Center or - even better - the New Jersey-based spots like the Prudential Center and MetLife - you have to put it on your bucket list to experience what NJPAC is all about in Newark. Need a reason to take the plunge? Mike. Epps. September 20!
Mike Epps invades NJPAC this September 20
I have sat on this news for a few weeks only because I know plenty of Attackers and A-Team members had their vacation goals fully activated but 15 days away from Epps’ comedy show going down at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center? I am geeking out.
Experience the legendary Mike Epps! One of the breakout successes of Def Comedy Jam, he went on to star in the Friday film franchise, All About the Benjamins, The Hangover, multiple Netflix specials and his series The Upshaws. You’ll laugh at his relentlessly raw perspective on fame, failure and so much more. “Mike Epps is a comedic genius,” says The Amsterdam News. “He’s digging for the truth and he’s delivering it.”
And another reason to love all things NJPAC? How about the extra mile the organization is going with both a first responder ticket and membership package perk? Say less .

Personally? NJPAC has become home and the location of endless priceless experiences. Spoiler - the logo you see on Attack The Culture stems from the NJPAC parking garage elevator selfie - so in a way, NJPAC is hugely responsible for fueling Attack The Culture’s positive outlook and creativity.
But from a reviewer and past attendee standpoint, the intimacy and comfort level of NJPAC is one of a kind. Having seen the legend Patti LaBelle and late DMX grace this stage to comedians like Michael Blackson and the unforgettable late John Witherspoon - I have countless heartfelt moments from here.
While I am making a push to attend this venue with family and friends, rest assured you will continue to see a lot of NJPAC presence around Attack The Culture for the immediate and infinite future. Hope to see you Garden State and Big Apple heads there September 20!
