Blending raw emotion with sharp lyricism, “Not Friendly” finds DDG and Polo G, known for their high-energy anthems, peeling back layers of vulnerability while delivering an introspective offering. Across the track, the duo explores themes of distrust, mental strain, and the pressures that come with success, offering listeners a candid glimpse into their personal journeys.

“Folks online, they touch their phone to speak on me, but don’t touch grass,” DDG raps. “They ain’t check on my mental in a minute. Too busy for distractions, f*ck my feelings.”

Polo G sets the tone from the outset, reflecting, “Talking to God, I need my peace. I had it hard, but I beat the streets.”

Not Friendly” arrives amid significant anticipation. A recent preview of the track–featuring DDGrapping along to Polo G’s verse while ziplining–quickly went viral, surpassing one million views and generating widespread buzz across social media.

The release continues DDG’s momentum following a prolific run that includes his 2025 projects blame the chat and moo, which helped solidify his status as one of hip-hop’s most dynamic and forward-thinking artists. The new single also arrives just ahead of DDG’s upcoming blame the chat tour.

Kicking off April 21 with a hometown show in Detroit, the tour will make stops in key markets including New York, Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles before wrapping on May 11. See the full routing below and go HERE to purchase tickets.

The tour takes its name from his innovative spring 2025 album of the same name, where his 24/7 Twitch “HIT-A-THON” was a first of its kind and further cemented his role as a pioneer at the intersection of music and streaming culture.

With over 2 billion global streams and multiple RIAA-certified hits, DDG has been named to XXL’scoveted Freshman Class and Forbes 30 Under 30. Described by Complex as “one of the most powerful streamers in hip-hop,” he remains at the forefront of a new era of music.

Get “Not Friendly” now, and stay tuned for more new music from DDG, coming soon.
