NBA 2K26: The wait’s almost over and this week is loaded with content

While NBA 2K26 doesn’t really drop until next month, 2K is coming through with the ultimate reason to cave in with the early grab featuring bonus perks including checking out all the game has to offer.

With The City promising big balling and new Crews on deck, it’s all about preparing for this Friday’s early experience.

NBA 2K announced  the new updates and features coming to The City in NBA 2K26. This year’s The City welcomes players back to the basketball mecca with: new layout updates, Seasonal Parks, Crews, Leaderboards, Challenges - all coming to The City and giving fans more competitions, community and status.

Early access for NBA 2K26 begins this Friday on August 29 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC for players who get the Superstar Edition or the Limited Leave No Doubt Edition, one full week ahead of the global launch on September 5, 2025.
