Leo shares this new offering after scoring his first number 1 in the UK Christian & Gospel Singles Charts with “Finished Business” with Imrhan, a huge moment for the young rapper.
Leo shares his thoughts on “Till The Wheels Fall Off”: “Recording this song with Shoday in Nigeria was an incredible experience. The energy, culture, and creativity around us inspired every part of the record. We wanted to make something that felt genuine and brought our sounds together naturally. I hope fans hear that chemistry and take away a sense of connection, positivity, and the idea that great music can bring people together no matter where they’re from.”
“Till The Wheels Fall Off” comes after “Finders Keepers”, which saw Leo go back to basics with a classic freestyle. Demonstrating the deft flow and technical penmanship that sets him apart, Leo reaffirmed his place at the apex of the new generation of rap.
Consistently receiving critical praise, earlier this year Leo received yet another MOBO nomination, this time for Best Drill Act.
Last year LeoStayTrill dropped his sophomore EP “Last Quarter” which dropped at the end of November last year. It was a beautifully vulnerable and well-rounded project that saw Leo expand his Afro-Drill sound. With Dave and Ed Sheeran co-signs, two EPs out in just a year and incredible stats under his belt, the sky’s the limit for the 19 year old South Londoner. Taking inspiration from all over the world, Leo aims to make music that appeals to his global fanbase while also staying true to his own musical interests.
The lead single from his debut project, “Hands on Knees” featured Drill superstar K-Trap. Which racked up over 6m views on the teasers and thousands of video creations. Fresh off a showstopping performance at Our Homecoming fest in Nigeria & with 2.3m followers across IG & Tik Tok, Leo has proven himself a force in the UK music industry. In June Leo performed in Manchester, Birmingham and London for his sold-out Home Alone tour.
In late 2024, Leo took the stage for his first ever sold-out headline show at The Camden Assembly, where he wowed fans and brought out ArrDee and Tion Wayne. With over 160m streams on Spotify alone, three MOBO Award nominations (Best Newcomer & Song Of The Year) and an Asake O2 Arena support slot under his belt, Leo’s proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
